Yes, it is possible, but it depends on the severity of your credit rating. It does limit the lenders we can put the application to. Also, camper trailers are considered by lenders to be a “want” not a need, and therefore can be a little harder to finance then a motor vehicle, for example.
- Do I need a deposit?
This depends on your credit rating. Many loans are no deposit, however the camper trailer manufacturer may require you to pay a deposit to start building your camper trailer (but Campertailerfinance.com.au can usually still finance the full amount if this is the case).
- Over what term can I take the loan?
Terms range from 1 year to 7 years
- How much can I borrow?
That is determined by the finance company, by taking into consideration your income and expenses. Finance companies have an obligation not to put you under financial pressure (it’s called responsible lending). Once you have provided the necessary information, we can usually give you some indication of what finance companies would be prepared to lend you.

- Will I need to comprehensively insure my camper trailer?
Yes, the camper will need to be comprehensively insured for the term of the loan with the finance company’s name noted on the policy as an interested party.
